Overview
This role is essential in ensuring smooth order fulfillment, shipping, and receiving processes within a fast-paced manufacturing and distribution environment. Prior warehouse experience and mechanical knowledge are highly valued to maintain safety and operational excellence Hybrid role assisting our manufacturing and warehouse/logistics teams. We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will support our production and warehousing teams at a busy manufacturing facility. This role is ideal for individuals with factory experience, mechanical aptitude, and hands-on skills with hand tools and power tools. You will play a vital part in the assembly process, operating power tools, and supporting the overall efficiency of our manufacturing operations. In addition , you will assist our warehouse team in a fast-paced environment to manage inventory, receive goods, pack orders, load and unload trucks and keep warehouse in clean and organized fashion.
Responsibilities
Operate equipment to safely to move materials throughout the facility
Assist with assembly line tasks, including assembling components using hand tools and power tools
Support the manufacturing process by handling raw materials and finished products
Assist to receive goods, pack and repack goods, count inventory, load and unload shipment and prepare orders
Assist in inventory management, including stocking and organizing supplies
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas to promote safety and efficiency
Follow safety protocols and adhere to all safety guidelines during daily operations
Qualifications
While previous factory or manufacturing experience preferred, especially in assembly or warehouse settings, we will train an entry level candidate for the right person
Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and assembly techniques preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipping, including order fulfillment and order picking activities
Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment
Stock shelves and organize warehouse space efficiently to optimize workflow
Assist with shipping & receiving tasks, including verifying shipments against shipping documents
Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
Prior warehouse experience is a plus, along with familiarity with manufacturing processes
