Role: Warehouse Associate
Pay: $21/hr
Assignment: 3 months
Location: Glendale Heights, IL
Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch)
Training schedule: MondayFriday, 7:00 AM 3:30 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch)
What you'll do:
Manually pick customer and internal orders using hands, carts, ladders, and order pickers (not forklift-focused)
Accurately pull, verify, and stage orders using part numbers and bin locations (no RF scanners used)
Assist walk-in customers at the will call counter, including locating items and loading orders into vehicles
Receive inbound materials, verify shipments, and stock items in proper locations
Prepare and process outbound UPS and LTL shipments
Operate an order picker at heights up to 20 feet
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment
Support general warehouse functions including stocking, inventory accuracy, and material handling
Occasionally operate a forklift (preferred but not required)

Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year warehouse experience
Experience manually pulling orders using hands, carts, ladders, or order pickers
(candidates with forklift-only or pallet distribution experience may not be a fit)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Strong attention to detail with part numbers and bin locations
Comfortable working in a customer-facing, walk-in environment
Ability to work at heights up to 20 feet
