Long Term Temp Position: 1 st Shift Material Attendant

Staffworks has partnered with a manufacturer located in East Syracuse, NY to find material handler to become a vital part of their team and these positions are long term temporary assignments.

Schedule:

Monday Friday 6:00AM until 2:30PM, with required overtime.

Overtime is defined as coming in early, staying late and working on Saturdays which could mean a 6-day workweek.

Pay:

$21.50 per hour

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED

Steel toe boots

Ability to stand for entire shift, bend, reach, twist, crouch, pull, etc.

Ability to lift to 50lbs

Prior experience of at least one year doing general duties of distributing, moving, stocking, shipping and/or receiving a variety of parts and equipment.

At least 1 year of solid forklift experience within the same job.

Job Duties and Responsibilities not limited to:

Moving material goods around warehouse.

Performs work under direct supervision from manager, assistant team leader (ATL) or other departmental lead.

Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to others.

Picking and packing orders

Measuring and cutting hoses and cables Assembly

Could be doing other jobs depending on needs
