Warehouse Associate 1 st Shift 7:00am-3:30pm- $18 an hour Position Summary The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations through the accurate receipt, storage, movement, and shipment of products. This role performs a combination of manual and system-driven tasks while maintaining a safe, organized, and productive work environment. Key responsibilities include receiving, picking, packing, shipping, inventory control, material handling, and order fulfillment. Essential Responsibilities
- Accurately pick, pack, and process customer orders using RF handheld scanners.
- Load and unload trucks and containers safely and efficiently.
- Receive, stock, replenish, and organize inventory within designated warehouse locations.
- Process inventory and order transactions through the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Verify incoming shipments and finished goods for accuracy and proper documentation.
- Support shipping and receiving functions, including labeling, staging, and preparing outbound shipments.
- Move, stage, palletize, and store materials using pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company policies.
- Perform general warehouse duties, including packaging, assembly, production support, and material handling as needed.
- Meet productivity, quality, and accuracy standards in a fast-paced environment.
- Lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
- Stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Participate in training and certification programs for powered industrial equipment, including forklifts, order pickers, walkies, and turret trucks.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Stable work history demonstrating reliability and dependability.
- Experience working in a fast-paced warehouse, production, or distribution environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet throughout the shift.
- Experience using RF scanners for picking, packing, receiving, or inventory management.
- Ability to safely load and unload trucks and containers.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or similar inventory software.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Positive attitude with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Willingness to be trained and certified on warehouse equipment.
- Previous experience in warehouse, distribution, shipping and receiving, or logistics operations.
- Experience operating forklifts, cherry pickers, order pickers, turret trucks, walkies, or pallet jacks.
- Knowledge of inventory control, cycle counting, and stock organization.
- Experience with palletizing, material handling, packaging, assembly, or general labor.
- Familiarity with hand tools and basic production processes.
- Background in construction, manufacturing, or other physically demanding work environments.
- Proven ability to maintain organization and productivity in a busy warehouse setting.
