Shipping Clerk

Our client is seeking a full-time Shipping Clerk to join their Shipping Department. This position plays a key role in preparing and packing items for shipment, arranging pickups with freight companies, and performing final assembly and quality checks on valve products. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety procedures.
Schedule & Pay: MondayFriday, 7:00 AM4:00 PM | $20$25/hr DOE

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform final assembly of valve products prior to shipping
• Pack valves and components securely to prevent damage
• Conduct quality checks and report issues before shipment
• Enter shipping details accurately into systems
• Maintain inventory of small valve components and monitor baler
• Cover receiving department during absences and complete weekly inventory reports
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in manufacturing or shipping preferred
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and push carts up to 1,500 lbs
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Computer literacy and aptitude for learning shipping systems
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
• Reliable, flexible, and able to follow safety protocols
