JOB PURPOSE

The Inventory Control Analyst serves as the central point of contact for product data across Palmetto State Armory and all subsidiaries, responsible for coordinating the creation, configuring, and maintaining manufactured goods and their associated bills of materials within NetSuite ERP. This role ensures data integrity and standardization across the organization by managing the complete lifecycle of product configurations—from initial data preparation and component creation through ongoing maintenance and cross-system integration. The position requires strong analytical capabilities, meticulous attention to detail, and deep understanding of ERP data relationships to support accurate manufacturing processes and inventory management enterprise-wide.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and analyze key indicators regarding salient aspects of physical and virtual inventory
  • Work with the various members of our inventory teams and management for continuity on programs.
  • Support EDI implementation, testing and training
  • Work to resolve EDI issues and support internal business team using EDI
  • Create reports and present data in readable and easy to use formats
  • Develop processes to help manage data import and export
  • Assist with projects and data migration as needed
  • Establish requirements for systems integration based on data needs for business users
  • Learn aspects of cycle counting, variance analysis, and FIFO trends
  • Able to create and read various forms of BOM’s consistent with Dunbar systems.
  • All other duties, as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree or 2-4 years experience in data management or NetSuite ERP systems
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with NetSuite ERP systems and comfortable importing and export data
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to focus on data work on a day to day basis
  • Effective communication skills with all levels of the business
  • Self-motivated, strong planning, organizational and time management skills
  • Maintain confidentiality as required

WORKING CONDITIONS

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is subject to a typical office environment, including heavy PC and phone usage. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate. Specific job assignments may require day, evening, weekend or holiday hours. Overtime may be required based on workload.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The job requires sitting and computer usage for extended periods of time with some stair climbing, walking and lifting of objects, weighing less than 40lbs occasionally .
