Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Operations Coordinator to support our healthcare operations team. This role is ideal for someone with a customer service or administrative experience in a medical, insurance, or office setting who is comfortable working directly with patients, explaining medical equipment, and coordinating logistics across teams.
No prior experience with medical equipment is required we provide training.
Location: Onsite (MF, 8:30 AM 5:30 PM)

Key Responsibilities
Coordinate tasks prior to handoff to warehouse and logistics teams
Manage routing and dispatch by collaborating with drivers and warehouse staff
Schedule equipment deliveries, pickups, and patient appointments
Work closely with hospice partners and internal teams to ensure timely service
Handle inbound patient calls, including:
Troubleshooting medical equipment
Evaluating current oxygen or medical systems
Scheduling services and appointments
Assist walk-in patients with equipment fittings, returns, and questions
Clearly explain how medical equipment works, including setup and troubleshooting
Educate patients on insurance coverage and financial responsibilities
Utilize Microsoft 365 (Teams, Outlook, etc.) for communication and documentation
Maintain accurate data entry and patient records
Collaborate with customer service, retail, and call center teams
Required Qualifications
13 years of customer service or administrative experience (must be in office, medical, or insurance industry)
Experience in healthcare support (Medical Assistant, CNA, insurance verification, or similar)
Experience working one-on-one with customers/patients
Strong computer skills and comfort using Microsoft 365 tools
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to assist patients into a seated position
Work Environment
Fully onsite, MondayFriday (8:30 AM 5:30 PM)
On-call rotation up to 2 times per week (weekday and/or weekend shifts, up to 12 hours)

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $31.00/hr.
