1St Shift Warehouse Attendant

Position at JBS USA POSITION: Warehouse Attendan t 1 st DEPARTMENT: Warehouse LOCATION: Worthington SALARY CLASS : Non-Exempt Salary RESPONSIBILITIES:

• The Warehouse Attendant position will be responsible for inventory management.
• Do cycle counts every month / spot check of inventory
• Be able to operate a powered industrial truck and small walking jack as needed to unload trailers
• Verify shipments against packaging slips
• Keep work areas clean
• Issue out parts and put away in coming parts
• Other duties as needed
• Issue / Reverse goods Receipts
• To fill in for packaging manager time off and other employee time off.

Working Conditions:

• Production and maintenance settings
• Exposure to various chemicals and machinery.
• Slippery floors, cold temp eratures, Warm temps
• Hours will be as plant schedule or may vary upon plant needs.

Relationships: Internal: Employees on the production line and plant management Special Skills:

• Flexibility to schedule changes
• Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally in English
• Bilingual skills helpful
• Excellent conflict resolution skills
• Computer knowledge required
• Good organizational skills
• Ability to work 50+ hours
• Good attendance and safety records
• W orking knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Production background with packaging preferred not required .
• System skillsSAP
• Self-starter who works independently with minimal supervision
• Good Attendance Record (Less than 3 points for internal candidates)
• Resume required

Education:

• High School degree or equivalent required, or equivalent combination of education and experience
