Material Handler/Forklift Driver

Material Handler / Warehouse Associate Belton, TX

Pay: $20/hour

Temp to Hire
Schedule: MondayFriday. Must have flexibility to work all shifts, including nights and overtime on weekends as needed.

Location: Belton, TX

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years warehouse experience
• Sit-down and stand-up forklift experience required
• Must have a valid drivers license
• Comfortable working with forklifts and at heights
• High School Diploma or GED
• Typing and basic computer skills
• Basic math and good reading skills
• Must be able to provide documentation verifying legal work status
• Must be proficient in reading and speaking English to communicate, follow safety instructions, and respond to inquiries

Responsibilities:

• Unload materials, tools, and equipment from vendor trucks, inspecting for quality
• Stock and transfer materials to correct location, mark with identifying information
• Assemble customer orders from stock, package orders in boxes and pallets
• Pull orders for delivery, load onto trucks, transfer materials using forklifts and other heavy equipment
• Prepare shipping documentation for UPS, LTL, SH, or air shipments
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness following OSHA and customer safety policies
• Adhere to required safety policies and training
• Take reasonable care for the safety and health of yourself and others, report hazards, injuries, or illness immediately
• Perform additional duties and projects as assigned
