Shipping Assistant

Commercial Bakery in Fort Lauderdale is seeking to fill the following position:

Shipping Assistant: Individual needed to assist with daily packaging and shipping of food products. Must be able to read English, follow instructions and food safety practices, and work at a quick pace while maintaining accuracy. This individual will also assist with the loading and unloading of trucks on a daily basis. Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work standing for up to 8 hours. Preference will be given to those individuals with Forklift training/experience and warehouse experience.

Must be willing to work in other areas of the bakery as needed.

Must be eligible to work in the U.S. TPS visas will not be accepted. Must have a work history that shows reliability.

Shifts: Monday through Friday: 8:00 am 5:00 pm. $16.00 / hour. Some overtime available. Position begins immediately.
