LOGISTICS CLERK
M-F 5x8's + OT as needed
The Logistics Clerk is responsible for supporting the efficient movement of goods through administrative coordination, documentation, and system management within the supply chain. This role ensures accurate shipment processing, inventory tracking, and communication between internal teams, carriers, and customers to maintain timely and compliant deliveries.
Key Responsibilities Shipping & Receiving Operations- Prepare and process shipping, receiving, and delivery documentation
- Generate bills of lading, packing lists, and shipment paperwork
- Coordinate domestic and export shipments
- Schedule pickups with carriers
- Ensure proper labeling, sealing, and compliance
- Monitor and maintain inventory records
- Verify material availability and apply FIFO practices
- Process delivery orders and outbound shipments
- Track production levels for planning
- Perform inventory reporting
- Coordinate with warehouse staff, drivers, and customers
- Manage shipment schedules and loading times
- Communicate shipment updates and delays
- Support weekly logistics planning
- Maintain organized logistics records
- Update shipment data in SAP systems
- Generate reports such as late shipments and schedules
- Process invoices and verify billing
- Resolve delays, shortages, and damages
- Investigate discrepancies
- Coordinate corrective actions
- Follow workplace safety procedures
- Ensure accurate documentation and labeling
- Maintain attention to detail
- Report hazards immediately
- Comply with regulations
- Experience in logistics or supply chain preferred
- Knowledge of SAP or ERP systems
- Strong organizational skills
- High attention to detail
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to multitask
- Proficiency in Excel

The ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing is also required.
