Material Handler/Inventory Control

C-P Flexible Packaging is now hiring a Material Handler

1 st Shift, Monday to Friday from 8am to 4:30pm

$17.00/hour

Job Functions & Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

• Unloading/Loading trucks, warehouse materials and outbound shipment
• Driving Box Truck between warehouses/buildings
• Maintaining and counting inventory for finished goods and warehouse materials
• Pulling and staging products for shipping
• Palletizing boxes and rolls of film
• Wrapping pallets
• Keeping work and surrounding areas clean and safe
• Work in a team environment
• Must comply with all general Company-wide standard operating procedures (SOPs) and any job or department specific SOPs
• SOPs may cover the area of (but are not limited to):
  • Employee Health & Safety
  • SQF (Safe Quality Food packager) and GMP (good manufacturing procedures) focused on eliminating contaminates in all packaging manufactured

Qualifications:

• Forklift experience
• Valid Driver's License
• Pallet jack experience
• Problem solving
• Following instructions
• Basic computer skills
• Communicating in a clear manner
• Ability to read and understand a tape measure

Physical Demands:

• Able to lift to 50-80 lbs.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time
• Bending and twisting
• Extensive use of hands and fingers
