Our client is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Associate to support daily warehouse operations involving inbound and outbound freight. The Shipping & Receiving Associate is responsible for ensuring materials are accurately received, processed, and shipped in a timely manner. This Shipping & Receiving Associate will play a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting order fulfillment, and keeping shipping operations running smoothly in a fast-paced warehouse setting.

Key Responsibilities

Organize incoming and outgoing shipments to meet required deadlines

Pull, package, and prepare customer orders for shipment

Label all packages accurately according to carrier requirements

Coordinate pickup and delivery schedules with shipping carriers

Receive incoming materials and verify against packing slips for accuracy

Inspect deliveries for damage or shortages and report discrepancies

Maintain accurate inventory records through proper counting and tracking

Operate forklift and pallet jack to move, load, and secure materials safely

Communicate with carriers regarding shipment issues or delays

Ensure all shipping documentation is completed correctly and efficiently

Qualifications

Stand Up and Sit Down forklift experience required

Ability to accurately read item numbers, labels, and order details

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in counting and labeling

Basic math and inventory tracking skills

Ability to communicate effectively with carriers and team members

Experience working in a warehouse or shipping environment preferred

Ability to lift, carry, and move materials as needed throughout shift

Frequent climbing on and off forklift equipment

Prolonged periods of standing, sitting, and manual handling of materials

Strong hand-eye coordination and ability to maintain focus in a busy environment

Must be able to safely operate warehouse equipment and follow safety protocols
