What's the role?
Notify the Shipping Manager with all over-pulled/missed-pulled by pickers
Serve as a key point of communication between the Project Management team, Procurement team, vendors, installers, carriers, and customers.
Coordinate furniture shipments, deliveries, and installation schedules across multiple customer locations.
Track purchase orders, vendor commitments, shipping milestones, and delivery dates to ensure projectsremainon schedule.
Work with Procurementand Purchasingto confirm product availability, lead times, substitutions, and shipping readiness.
Communicate project updates, risks, and action items clearly and promptly to all stakeholders.
Photograph completed pallets and shipments for internal records(Project Pulse)and as proof of condition at time of departure.
Maintain a zero-tolerance standard for shipping errors; escalate repeat discrepancies to the Warehouse Manager.
Conduct a comprehensive QC inspection of every pallet and shipment prior to release, verifying item counts, part numbers, and condition against the pick list.
Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other material handling equipment safely andin accordance withcompany policy.
Participate in pre-project kickoff meetings to understand scope, special handling needs, and site delivery constraints.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe staging and shipping dock areaat all times.
Assistwith receiving, cycle counts, and inventory accuracy initiatives as directed.
Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing shipping errors, cycle time, and freight costs.
What you'll need:
High school diploma or GED required.
2+ years of experience in a warehouse shipping, receiving, or logistics coordination role.
Demonstrated experience building pallets and preparing LTL/FTL freight shipments.
Strong working knowledge of BOLs, freight classifications, and carrier requirements.
Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP software, or similar platforms.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to perform thorough quality checks under time pressure.
Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to coordinate effectively across departments.
Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain certification within30 days of hire.
Time Managementcan manage multiple open shipments simultaneously without sacrificing quality.
Problem Solvingcan identify and resolve logistical obstacles quickly and independently.
Team Collaborationcan work across departments to align schedules and priorities.
Preferred Experience:
Experience coordinating outbound shipments for furniture, fixtures, or large project-based deliveries.
Experience working with third-party carriers, freight scheduling, and shipment documentation in a multi-site environment.
1-3 years of hands-on experience in Culturespace environment.
Forklift certification at time of hire.
Monday - Friday; 6:00am-3:00pm
