Pay Rate: $32.00/hour (1-year Contract)

Shift: 2pm-11pm (Alternate shifts may be required based on business needs)

What’s a typical day as Production Scheduler? You’ll be:



    	

  • Planning and scheduling complex, high-impact work centers and manufacturing processes for current production and service parts

    	

  • Scheduling requirements for materials, including kanbans/triggers, delivery, and achievement of production schedules

    	

  • Developing line sequencing of options and potentially supervising or providing work direction

    	

  • Expediting production and purchased parts and coordinating with other departments for needed materials

    	

  • Implementing engineering and material changes and analyzing future production requirements, including workforce planning

    	

  • Maintaining and planning kanbans, calculating kanban quantities, and performing administrative duties

    	

  • Auditing inventory integrity and accuracy, including production and scrap reporting

    	

  • Providing scheduling support specifically in laser cutting and forming operations



This job might be an outstanding fit if you:



    	

  • Have a 4-year degree in a relevant field with at least 1 year of scheduling experience OR have a high school diploma/equivalent with 5+ years of scheduling experience in a production environment

    	

  • Are proficient with MS Office, including intermediate skills in Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.)

    	

  • Have SAP experience

    	

  • Are willing to work onsite, spending approximately 75% or more time on the production floor

    	

  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills

    	

  • Thrive in a team environment and can work independently with minimal direction

    	

  • Are willing to support alternate shifts as needed based on business demands

    	

  • Can wear metatarsal safety boots from your first day
