Job Description We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team on the 3rd shift. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a standard sit-down forklift to load and unload trucks in a warehouse environment. Job Description This role operates a standard sit-down forklift to safely and efficiently load and unload trucks in a fast-paced warehouse environment during the 3rd shift. You will handle shipping and receiving activities, use RF scanners to track inventory, and support overall warehouse operations within a clean, food-production facility. Responsibilities Operate a standard sit-down forklift to load and unload trucks safely and efficiently. Perform shipping and receiving activities, including moving materials to and from designated areas. Use an RF scanner to accurately pick, scan, and track products and inventory movements. Handle pallets, materials, and finished goods in the warehouse while maintaining proper organization. Support general warehouse operations, including staging, stocking, and preparing products for shipment. Follow all safety procedures and warehouse guidelines while operating equipment and performing tasks. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production and shipping schedules. Maintain a clean and orderly work area in compliance with facility standards. Skills Proven experience operating a standard sit-down forklift. Warehouse experience in a shipping and receiving environment. Hands-on experience loading and unloading trucks. Ability to operate and navigate an RF scanner for inventory and order processing. Capability to stand for long periods of time during the shift. Ability to work safely in a production environment that handles food-related products and allergens. Additional Skills & Qualifications Interest in joining a union facility after an initial assignment period. Comfort working in a large production facility that manufactures marinades, salad dressings, and BBQ sauces. Work Environment This is a 3rd shift role, working Monday to Friday from 9:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. in a clean production facility located in an industrial park in Swedesboro, NJ. The facility is a large production operation focused on marinades, salad dressings, and BBQ sauces. The building is temperature-controlled, but conditions can still be influenced by the weather and by industrial mixers or ovens used in production. You must be able to stand for long periods of time and work comfortably in an environment where you may be exposed to allergens such as milk, egg, mustard, peanuts, fish, sulfites, sesame, soy, tree nuts, and wheat. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Swedesboro, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.89 - $22.89/hr.
