Forklift Operator and Material Handler !! 1st shift, Pay Rate $20/hr. !! Responsibilities Prepare and assemble fitness machines according to diagrams, written instructions, and established procedures. Place parts in the correct relationship to each other and fasten components using bolts, clips, screws, taps, presses, and other fastening methods. Use supported portable air tools, power tools, and hand tools to complete assembly tasks safely and efficiently. Tend machines such as arbor presses and small-scale, dual-palm initiated hydraulic presses to perform fitting or fastening operations on the assembly line. Operate various portable hand, power, and air tools, including screwdrivers, wrenches, sockets, calipers, clamping devices, grinders, hand drills, and belt sanders. Perform assembly tasks on a moving assembly line within established time frames to meet production targets. Load parts onto the conveyor line in the paint area to prepare them for painting and unload parts after the painting process. Inspect painted parts for quality, finish, and defects, and ensure they meet specified standards. Lift and move parts and materials weighing up to 50 pounds throughout the assembly and paint processes. Follow all written and verbal instructions, standard operating procedures, and safety guidelines while performing daily tasks. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area and promptly report any equipment or quality issues to supervision.
