Material Handler/Yard Operator

Duties and Responsibilities: -Responsible for all aspects of material handling to ensure material is moved, loaded, and unloaded in a safe, secure, and timely manner, through the appropriate areas of production -Ensure that forklifts are operational at all times and are operated safely and securely -Manage inventory by identifying, cataloging, and recording the location of inventory -Operate various machinery including cranes and forklifts to handle materials and inventory -Accurately pick orders, move products, and update inventory levels verifying quantities prior to loading onto trucks -Able to accurately identify steel sizes and thicknesses -Assist warehouse order picking, truck loading, receiving, shipping, and transfer operations as needed -Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations -Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results -Maintain good housekeeping practices and perform other related duties as assigned -Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed For full job description: Only applicants residing in Canada will be considered.
