Material Handler

Location : Marlborough, MA The Temp Material Handler is responsible for supporting warehouse and manufacturing operations through packaging, unpackaging, kitting, inventory handling, shipping, and receiving activities. This role requires maintaining quality and safety standards, ensuring inventory accuracy, and supporting operational excellence in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Job Responsibilities: Package, unpackage, kit, pick, and deliver parts according to established procedures. Organize and verify packaging components before use. Perform equipment and instrument packaging safely and accurately following technical documents and procedures. Complete and maintain quality and packaging documentation. Assist with inventory transactions and maintain inventory accuracy. Initiate and process defective part disposition through the NCE process. Participate in 6S activities, daily management boards, and continuous improvement initiatives. Perform equipment maintenance as required. Follow all safety regulations and quality standards, including GMP compliance. Support cross-training efforts and work across multiple departments/functions as needed. Assist with special projects and work overtime when required to meet production schedules. Maintain strong attendance and collaborate effectively within a team environment. Skills: Warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred. Comfortable using computers and inventory management systems. Oracle or ERP/MRP system knowledge preferred. Ability to read and follow assembly drawings, procedures, schematics, and technical documents. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook; Excel knowledge preferred. Knowledge of Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) practices is a plus. Familiarity with hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, torque tools, crimpers, soldering tools, multimeters, and oscilloscopes. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work flexibly across multiple departments and functions. Ability to read, write, and understand English. Experience with inventory handling, packaging, shipping, receiving, or material movement is an advantage. Education/Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Minimum 1+ year of warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred.
