Experience reading work orders or following oral instructions
Experience loading and unloading materials by hand
Experience moving materials to storage areas, worksites, or manufacturing floor locations
Experience counting, weighing, and recording materials
ERP system experience
Ability to use hand tools such as steel cutters, crowbars, and claw hammers
Ability to use material handling equipment such as hand trucks, electric dollies, forklifts, or related devices
Ability to attach tags, labels, or other identifying information to materials
Ability to obtain additional training as required for hazardous material handling or machinery operation
Preferred Skills Forklift certification
Experience handling hazardous materials
Experience operating warehouse or manufacturing material handling equipment
Experience loading materials into vehicles using strapping, bracing, or padding
Experience supporting manufacturing floor material movement
Job Responsibilities Read work orders and follow oral instructions to determine materials or containers to be moved
Open containers using steel cutters, crowbars, claw hammers, or other hand tools
Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand
Load materials into vehicles
Install strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage during transit
Move materials to and from storage areas, worksites, and manufacturing floor locations
Use hand trucks, electric dollies, forklifts, or other devices to convey materials
Count, weigh, and record moved or handled materials in an ERP system
Attach tags and labels to materials
Mark materials with required identifying information
Complete additional training as needed for hazardous material handling or machinery operation
