Billing Operations Analyst Workplace Type: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7-4 or 8-5 Employment Type: ContracttoHire (12 months) About the Role The Billing Operations Analyst plays a key role in supporting the billing readiness process for field service operations. This position ensures that jobs are properly completed, authorized, costvalidated, and set to Ready to Bill status. The analyst works closely with field teams, operations, and billing to maintain accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and support monthend activities. Key Responsibilities Billing Readiness Execution Validate job completion, customer authorization, and service order closure. Cost Posting & Validation Review, correct, and validate cost postings prior to billing. Open Order Management Monitor and update open orders daily; support monthend close. Job Confirmation Review Ensure correct confirmations and billing criteria are met. Cross Functional Collaboration Meet weekly with assigned markets to review job status and resolve issues. Invoice Upload Support Manage invoice upload inboxes and ensure timely processing. Customer Dispute Support Assist with billing disputes and provide timely updates. Continuous Improvement Identify process gaps and contribute to workflow enhancements. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. 5+ years of experience in a business environment. 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite. Strong communication, organization, and problemsolving skills. Ability to manage a highvolume workload with accuracy. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business or related field. Experience in job costing , accounting , or customer service . Experience with ServiceMax , Salesforce , or SAP . Background in field service or HVACrelated industries. Strong financial acumen and processdriven mindset. Work Environment Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote . Increased workload during the last week of each month/quarter. Collaborative team environment with regular communication across field offices. Interviews conducted via Microsoft Teams.
