Job Responsibilities Support customer demand requirements for OEM and non-OEM production and service products
Gather, review, and analyze supply chain data and demand information
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to align supply with demand signals
Develop, adjust, and improve consensus forecasts and customer orders
Review historical sales trends and research demand drivers
Prepare forecast data and develop statistical forecast models
Evaluate forecast results and improve forecast accuracy
Align planning with production and demand forecasts based on supplier, manufacturing, logistics, and lead-time factors
Analyze, prioritize, and coordinate replenishment activities
Support customer service levels while minimizing order-to-receipt cycle time and logistics costs
Make purchasing decisions within established policies, inventory levels, and sales expectations
Use lead times, minimum order requirements, logistics capacity, production capacity, shelf life, forecasts, and part maintenance data to support planning decisions
Optimize product allocation to customers during limited supply situations
Review allocation processes and recommend improvements
Review business processes and recommend ERP-related improvements
Coordinate product launches, end-of-life planning, and product transitions
Balance sales demand with obsolescence risk
Develop, maintain, and improve planning, forecasting, and operational reports
Query, mine, analyze, format, and communicate supply chain data
Coordinate cross-functional activities to reconcile variances and refine forecast models
Identify and participate in continuous improvement opportunities related to supply and demand alignment
