Faulkner University's College of Health Sciences is seeking a qualified individual to serve as Operations Manager. This individual will develop, implement, and review operational policies and procedures for the Partnering in Alabama for Training in Healthcare (PATH) program and for the College of Health Sciences. The selected individual will support the efficient day-to-day operations of faculty, staff, and students through effective coordination, accurate record management, and clear communication. Faulkner University is a Christian university affiliated with the churches of Christ.
This is a full-time (40 hours per week) position.
Summary of Duties:
- Provide administrative support for the daily operation of the office of the dean
- Coordinate logistics for PATH outreach events, training sessions, and community engagements
- Manage activities across PATH initiatives (mobile clinic, simulation, training programs, fellowships)
- Coordinate logistics for mobile clinic deployment (sites, schedules, staffing, equipment)
- Administer, develop, and analyze operational systems, policies, and procedures
- Coordinate student placements with academic programs within the college
- Serve as operational point of contact for external partners of the PATH program
- Provide onboarding support and training for new employees of the college
- Maintain required documentation for audits and program reviews
- Track program expenditures and maintain budget records
- Assist in facilities management and purchasing activities
- Supervise student workers
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required; master's degree in healthcare administration, public health, business or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years office or managerial experience required
- Healthcare operations, higher education, or workforce development experience preferred
- Active member of the church of Christ
