Forklift Operator

We are hiring for a Forklift Operator on behalf of our client, a leading technology logistics and distribution company. This full-time position requires a safety-conscious individual to handle the movement of sensitive electronic equipment and components within a high-tech warehouse environment. Location: Sterling, VA Compensation: $25.00/hr Schedule: Mon-Fri, 7:30am-4:30pm Status: Temporary; June 8 th - Mid August Responsibilities Safely operate forklifts (such as stand-up, sit-down, or reach trucks) and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move pallets. Verify incoming shipments against manifests and purchase orders to check for correct counts and visible box damage. Stack and organize materials efficiently in designated warehouse racks and staging zones. Conduct daily equipment inspections to ensure forklifts are safe and functional before operation. Maintain a clean, organized, and secure workspace to prevent product damage and workplace hazards. Qualifications Valid forklift operator certification is preferred Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or distribution center. High attention to detail and careful handling skills to manage sensitive, high-value tech inventory safely. Basic computer literacy and comfort using digital inventory tracking systems or warehouse software. Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, and safely lift materials up to 50 lbs as needed. Reliable transportation and a strong, punctual work ethic. Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $25.00 - $25.00 Per Hour
