Title: Operations Manager (Temporary)
Location: Kansas City, MO
Duration: 2+ Months (Contract)
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate on-site staff, ensuring all team members are positioned and performing according to the daily operational plan.
Operational Execution: Manage real-time logistics, including shuttle arrival/departure scheduling and load-zone management.
Communication: Act as a key point of contact for staff, reporting updates to project leadership and resolving operational bottlenecks on the fly.
Compliance: Ensure all team members adhere to safety protocols and site-specific operational procedures.
What We re Looking For:
3-5 years of supervisory or management experience is required; scheduling experience is highly preferred.
Dynamic interpersonal skills: Proven ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of stakeholders, from frontline staff to project leadership.
Ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure.
Experience in events, transportation, or logistics is a major plus, though we welcome candidates from hospitality, retail, or service management backgrounds.
Ability to stand for long periods and work outdoors in a field environment.
Availability: Must be available for 40-hour work weeks, including weekends and varying shifts throughout the tournament.
