Material Handler

Our client, a full-service moving and storage company, is looking for a Driver Helper to join their team in Poughkeepsie, NY . In this role, you will assist drivers and the moving team with transporting, wrapping, and handling household items and packaging materials safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Wrap, lift, and carry household items and packaging materials to and from trucks, homes, and warehouses Learn and apply efficient and safe lifting and carrying techniques under the guidance of the Driver Team Leader Follow directions from the driver and support the moving team as needed throughout the shift Requirements: Previous moving or material handling experience preferred; training will be provided Ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely and repeatedly throughout the shift Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn Reliable, punctual, and able to work extended hours when needed Pay & Schedule: Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM Must have flexibility to work beyond scheduled hours as needed Equal Opportunity Employment Lyneer Staffing Solutions is an equal opportunity employer committed to building a diverse and inclusive workforce.
