Duties
Help
Serves as the operional command lead for logistical support issues and is responsible for management and administrion of assigned weapons systems.
Provides technical assistance and logistical support guidance to subordine units.
Provides command management direction relive to general supply support to all AETC and tenant units.
Inities/implements necessary policies and procedures required for all AETC activities to ensure proper discipline and control of spares requirements AETC-wide.
Uses personal computer with multiple office automion software and varied functions to produce a wide range of documents th often require complex forms, such as graphics or tables within text, editing and reformting electronic drafts, and upding or revising existing dabases, presentions, or spreadsheets or word-processing documents.

Qualificions
In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualificion Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrive and Management Positions, Supply Program Management Series, 2003.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have least one (1) year of specialized experience the next lower grade GS-11, or equivalent in other pay systems. Examples of specialized experience includes extensive knowledge and thorough understanding of logistics management concepts and supply procedures/automed da systems. FEDERAL TIME-IN-GRADE (TIG) REQUIREMENT FOR GENERAL SCHEDULE (GS) POSITIONS: Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year the GS-11 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-12 level. TIG applies if you are in a current GS position or held a GS position within the previous 52 weeks. NOTE: Applicants applying as VEOA candides who are current GS civil service employees or are prior GS civil service employees within the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualificions evalued on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
Extensive knowledge and thorough understanding of logistics management concepts and supply procedures/automed da systems.
Expert knowledge of supply programs in the specific area of weapons system management, SBSS, WSMIS, WINMASS, D043, and Federal Logistics Da (FedLog).
Ability to chair large teaming efforts, conferences and meetings with other MAJCOMs, Air Staff and effectively brief senior leadership, to include General Officers. Ability to effectively facilite, arbitre and negotie
Skill in tact and diplomacy. Skill in oral and written communicions. Knowledge of automed da processing equipment and computer requirements.
Ability to plan, organize and independently meet deadlines. Ability to successfully complete projects when constant change in technology and reengineering initiives cree a need for training and guidance of subordines.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit given for approprie unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
VOLUNTEER WORK EXPERIENCE: Refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through Nional Service Programs (i.e., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizions (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student and social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge and skills th can provide valuable training and experience th transles directly to paid employment. Duties
Help
Serves as the operional command lead for logistical support issues and is responsible for management and administrion of assigned weapons systems.
Provides technical assistance and logistical support guidance to subordine units.
Provides command management direction relive to general supply support to all AETC and tenant units.
Inities/implements necessary policies and procedures required for all AETC activities to ensure proper discipline and control of spares requirements AETC-wide.
Uses personal computer with multiple office automion software and varied functions to produce a wide range of documents th often require complex forms, such as graphics or tables within text, editing and reformting electronic drafts, and upding or revising existing dabases, presentions, or spreadsheets or word-processing documents.

Qualificions
In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualificion Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrive and Management Positions, Supply Program Management Series, 2003.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have least one (1) year of specialized experience the next lower grade GS-11, or equivalent in other pay systems. Examples of specialized experience includes extensive knowledge and thorough understanding of logistics management concepts and supply procedures/automed da systems. FEDERAL TIME-IN-GRADE (TIG) REQUIREMENT FOR GENERAL SCHEDULE (GS) POSITIONS: Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year the GS-11 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-12 level. TIG applies if you are in a current GS position or held a GS position within the previous 52 weeks. NOTE: Applicants applying as VEOA candides who are current GS civil service employees or are prior GS civil service employees within the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualificions evalued on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
Extensive knowledge and thorough understanding of logistics management concepts and supply procedures/automed da systems.
Expert knowledge of supply programs in the specific area of weapons system management, SBSS, WSMIS, WINMASS, D043, and Federal Logistics Da (FedLog).
Ability to chair large teaming efforts, conferences and meetings with other MAJCOMs, Air Staff and effectively brief senior leadership, to include General Officers. Ability to effectively facilite, arbitre and negotie
Skill in tact and diplomacy. Skill in oral and written communicions. Knowledge of automed da processing equipment and computer requirements.
Ability to plan, organize and independently meet deadlines. Ability to successfully complete projects when constant change in technology and reengineering initiives cree a need for training and guidance of subordines.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit given for approprie unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
VOLUNTEER WORK EXPERIENCE: Refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through Nional Service Programs (i.e., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizions (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student and social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge and skills th can provide valuable training and experience th transles directly to paid employment.
