The Supply Technician is accountable for storage and distribution of all stock supplies in Central Supply. This position will verify and keep records of incoming shipments. They are further accountable for unpacking and examining incoming shipments. The Supply Technician receives and distributes requests for supplies and equipment to departments. This position inventories, fills and cleans Pyxis supply stations and carts; tags supplies; replenishes shelves in the Central Supply department.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Reviews Pyxis reports and adjusts minimum/maximum levels; maintains adequate stock on all nursing units, operates materials management computer system and Pyxis console. Coordinates the receiving and delivery of supplies and equipment throughout the hospital. Maintains inventory of all stocked supplies in Central Supply. Maintains appropriate stock levels on all Central Supply items. Manages and checks for outdated supplies in Pyxis. Perform quarterly cycle counts or as needed. Performs other duties as assigned.

Required :

• High School diploma or equivalent
• One year inventory and supply experience
