Actual pay will be based on various factors, such as a candidates qualifications, skills, competencies, proficiency for the role, and internal equity. In addition to base pay, Kwik Trip gives 40% of pre-tax profits back to our coworkers with bonuses ranging from 8-12% of each coworkers gross annual wage depending on company profitability and offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401k, paid time off, and more.

Our state-of-the-art Kitchens department located in La Crosse, WI produces over 40 different food products for approximately 800+ retail stores. Kwik Trip customers are able to enjoy everything from our soups, salads, sandwiches to our Pothole Pizzas. With our expansion we are now able to offer a variety of Take Home Meals and finished fruit and vegetable products, all prepared daily by our Kitchens team.

As a Kitchens Inventory Warehouse Material Handler , you will maintain perpetual inventory of material by performing physical counts with the use of a forklift and recording them in our SAP systems.

Typical duties include:

  • Record stock of materials on count sheet
  • Record expiration dates of materials on count sheet
  • Compare stock count to SAP system inventory levels
  • Investigate, report and correct reasons for discrepancies
  • Lift load and move materials as needed
  • Assess work area around them to ensure safety

Work Schedules: Sunday through Wednesday OR Wednesday through Saturday working 11:30am to 9:30pm

Qualifications: Accurate/detail orientated; adhere to sanitation/hygiene standards; strong mathematical aptitude; work in a safety conscious environment; ability to lead by example; excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks; willing to learn/perform variety of job tasks; work in a fast paced production environment; work with minimal supervision; strong desire to succeed; goal orientated. Warehouse, fork lift, understanding of MES system and cycle count experience needed.

Physical qualifications: lift/carry up to 60 pounds to 60 inches; lift/carry 40 pounds to 76 inches; push/pull 60 pounds of force; bend, twist, reach, stoop frequently; work in varying -20 44 degree F temperatures.
