Job Summary:

The Delivery Coordinator (DC) will be responsible for optimizing the distribution of propane and the scling and routing of drivers in supported locations. The DC will work closely with District Operations, and Region Directors for route planning to ensure efficient routes that meet/exceed delivery metrics are created and dispatched. Subject matter expert for all routing, utilization and dashboard tools applicable to this function.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Oversee and quality check system generated delivery routes forpleteness to drive efficiencies and meet key objectives

Same day emergency/expedited order dispatch - Coordinate ETA with Drivers and Customers

Work with operations management to incorporate local knowledge into efficient routes

Monitor the automatic reassignment of undelivered orders from previous day/week's routes

Change or make additions to routes as needed due to dynamic conditions

Review district health check daily - identify accounts requiring factor maintenance and ensure notifications are submitted

Lead weekly productivity planning calls with area management teams and Region Directors. Proactively making rmendations to maximize staffing and delivery efficiencies

Work with Area Operations to prioritize, route or eliminate aging open orders

Work with Area Operations to ensure data collations post daily

Partner with Service Coordinator to ensure timely response for emergencies, and execution of service and delivery related tasks as necessary

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of Safety and DOT protocols

Knowledge of Microsoft office products, such as PowerPoint, Word and, Excel

Strongmunication skills (both written & verbal)

Effective problem-solving skills & acute analytical skills

Customer service orientation

Detail oriented with stronganizational & time management skills

Education and Experience Required:

3 Years of experience in routing or logistics

Multi location routing experience preferred

Supervisor or management experience preferred

High School diploma required

The hourly pay for this position is $27.36, depending on circumstances including an applicant's skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. Additionalpensation may include eligibility to earn a performance-based bonus ormissions onpleted sales depending on position.
