Pay: $23.00/hour Duration: 3-month assignment (may be extended) Start: ASAP Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM Off Sundays and Tuesdays Position Summary: Westaff is seeking a dependable and customer-focused Dispatcher to support a leading logistics operation. This role serves as the main point of contact between drivers, customers, and internal teams to ensure timely deliveries and efficient coordination of transportation activities. Key Responsibilities: Schedule and dispatch drivers for pickups and deliveries Communicate with drivers, customers, and vendors regarding shipment details and timing Monitor delivery status and adjust routes or schedules as needed Handle incoming calls and resolve customer inquiries or service issues Track and document dispatch activity, including routes, delays, and delivery updates Troubleshoot delivery issues and escalate when appropriate Maintain accurate records and dispatch logs Qualifications: Previous dispatch, logistics, or customer service experience preferred Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Proficient with computers and phone systems Detail-oriented and highly organized Apply today for immediate consideration! #Westaffjobs30 customer service, office and strong communication/problem-solving skills
