Warehouse Manager Job Description We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse operations with energy and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the entire supply chain process within our distribution center, ensuring seamless coordination of inventory management, shipping and receiving, and logistics. Your leadership will drive process improvements, optimize warehouse efficiency, and uphold safety standards. Responsibilities Manage day-to-day warehouse operations including inventory control, order fulfillment, shipping & receiving, and warehouse distribution activities. Lead and supervise warehouse staff, fostering a collaborative environment focused on safety, productivity, and quality. Utilize ERP system for inventory management, shipping and receiving. Oversee shipping and receiving via UPS, FedEx, DHL, USPS, and various LTL carriers. Implement process improvements utilizing Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment through regular training and audits. Essential Skills Proven experience in warehouse supervision or operations management within a fast-paced distribution environment. Familiarity with ERP platforms and shipping software. Demonstrated ability to lead process improvement initiatives using Lean methodologies or other continuous improvement frameworks. Supervisory experience managing teams of warehouse staff with a focus on safety, productivity, and employee development. Knowledge of 3PL logistics providers, freight management practices, and shipping & receiving procedures. Additional Skills & Qualifications Sit-down forklift experience. High attention to detail and the ability to think outside the box to improve inventory processes. Experience managing a small team of warehouse associates. Ability to perform warehouse associate tasks such as picking items, scanning into systems, routine inventory control, and labeling products. Why Work Here?
