THE WORK
As a Procurement Planner, you will be responsible for a range of tasks, including:
Design, develop, and implement logistics systems and processes to meet business requirements
Analyze and optimize logistics operations to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, manufacturing, and operations, to ensure seamless integration of procurement processes
Develop and implement metrics and performance measures to track material and identify areas for improvement
Identify and mitigate material-related risks and develop contingency plans to minimize disruptions

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline or equivalent professional experience with specialized training commensurate with assignment5+ years of experience in logistics engineering or a related field, with experience in procurement and logistics coordination
Familiar with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Department of Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS)
Demonstrated ability to execute and peer review compliant and procurement packages
Ability to work with cross-functional teams
Strong knowledge of logistics principles, practices, and technologies
Experience with logistics systems design, development, and implementation
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
Proficiency in procurement software and systems, such as Site Purchase Orders and warehouse management systems (WMS)
Ability to multi-task while balancing strategic priorities and recognizing when to escalate
Experience with material tracking tools
