This position is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, coordinating logistics, and providing sales support.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:Provides Customer Service

Receive, process, and enter customer orders into internal control software (i.e. SAP/MOCA)Issue invoicesAssist customers with issues, answer questions, and resolve problems in a timely mannerMaintain business relationships with customers and suppliers/vendorsTrack shipments, perform traces as requested/needed and update relevant partiesMonitor customer ordering patterns and follow up with Management on irregularities or missed ordersFollow up on or assist in post-customer billing and accounting issues and/or procedures

Performs Logistics Functions

Verify incoming and outgoing shipmentsInspect and ensure the accuracy of all logistics-related documentsProcess relevant and necessary paperwork for import/export of countries (BL, Commercial, Inv, etc.)Place orders with suppliers as requestedArrange transportation relevant to distribution and shippingObtain rates, shipping schedules, and vessel spaceCheck and compare all freight charges for accuracy and competitiveness, filing claims on overchargesProcess payments, prepare receipts, and initiate billing proceduresFile insurance claimsPerform any other logistics functions as necessary

Provide Sales Support

Monitor credit limits on each saleLiaise between sales staff and customersPerform any other sales support functions as necessary

Performs Inventory Control Functions

Monitor invoices and ordersEnsure that appropriate inventory levels are maintained by other sales support staffTrack and expedite inventory for delivery as neededOrganize inventoryReport any inventory discrepancy to Management in a timely manner

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Associate`s degree

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE AND CAPABILITY REQUIREMENTS:

3 to 5 years of related logistics/customer service/sales support experienceExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHighly efficient time management skills and ability to prioritize tasksStrong capability to multitask and finish assigned projects before deadlines are dueStrong attention to detail and excellent follow-up skillsProficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, OutlookSelf-motivated and effective in a team setting and individuallyAbility to work in a multi-cultural business environment

SALARY RANGE:$32.97 per hour to $35.72 per hour ($60,000 to $65,000)
