Kforce has a client in Fairfax, VA that is seeking a dependable and detail oriented Inventory and Operations Support Associate to assist with a short term, onsite project. This role involves hands on inventory management as well as light office and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and comfortable performing repetitive, accuracy driven work in a team environment. This position is based in our Fairfax office and requires consistent onsite attendance for the duration of the project.
Key Responsibilities:Inventory and Operations Support:
- Inventory physical items and record relevant information accurately
- Handle products carefully during counting, preparation, and packaging
- Apply labels and materials according to established guidelines
- Organize inventory batches and track progress throughout the day
- Perform regular quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency
Office and Administrative Support:
- Enter inventory data into spreadsheets or tracking systems
- Prepare documentation related to inventory or project progress
- Assist with printing, organizing, and filing project materials
- Support general office organization related to the project
- Communicate status updates or issues to the onsite lead as needed* 2+ years of in-office experience, preferably in an environment where there are repetitive tasks that require organizational skills
- Must be a self-starter as once they show the person how to complete the task, they will do that same task throughout the assignment
- Software - MS Office experience
