Bettendorf Community School District is seeking a dependable and organized Transportation Dispatcher to support the daily operations of our Transportation Department. This position plays an important role in ensuring students arrive safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service to families, staff, and drivers. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates effectively, and remains calm under pressure.

Salary
- $22.57/hour
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with office technology and computer systems
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Must be able to work independently and collaboratively with staff and families
- Must be able to provide required I-9 documentation to verify eligibility to work in the United States.
Knowledge, Skills, and Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support daily transportation operations
- Answer phones and assist staff, students, parents, and community members professionally
- Communicate effectively with drivers and school personnel regarding transportation needs and schedule changes
- Prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and efficiency
- Maintain transportation records and assist with data entry and reporting
- Operate standard office equipment and transportation communication systems
- Demonstrate professionalism, flexibility, and strong problem-solving skills
