We are seeking an Inventory Control Clerk to join our team at Emerson in Aiken, SC! In this role, you will work with the Stockroom Supervisor and will be responsible for various operations within the Materials department. You will be responsible for completing daily cycle counts, reconciliation of discrepancies, and entering all transactions for finished goods. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Responsible for daily cycle counts and physical inventory entries along with the reconciliation of discrepancies.
- Responsible for the entry of all finished goods inventory transactions and reconciliation when required.
- Keep picking slips together in a neat and orderly manner.
- Ability to use sound judgment in the analysis of data and circumstances surrounding entries or transactions.
- Ability to understand and determine actions to be taken within the limits of accepted practices.
- Ability to work accurately and with a sense of urgency
- Able to effectively communicate with employees and Supervisors in Shipping and stockroom on routine matters.
- Act with utmost integrity, professionalism and positive attitude.
- Obey all safety rules and stop work if continuing is unsafe or will create an unsafe condition. Report all safety concerns immediately.
- Must be a team player.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the lead or supervisor.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Over one (1) year up to and including three (3) years experience in Data Entry.
Working Environment:
- Exposed to manufacturing plant conditions and elements including but not limited to noise, dust, dirt, oil, and grease.
- PPE's will be required including safety glasses, ear plugs and/or safety shoes.
- May be required to work at different work stations as determined by business needs.
