Position Overview:
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for working with management to ensure proper accountability for all inventory processes including cycle counts and month end inventories, monitor inbound deliveries for accuracy, and ensure safety measures are being followed.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM
Key Accountabilities:
Receive and record incoming shipments.
Maintain accurate inventory records using spreadsheets, databases, or inventory management software.
Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, shortages, or damaged goods.
Prepare and process stock transfers, returns, and restocking requests.
Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, and sales teams to ensure inventory accuracy.
Check-in daily delivery trucks upon return to ensure issuance of proper credit and inventory reconciliation
Follow company safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
Requirements
Education/Training/Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Ability to work collaboratively with internal customers with a high comfort level for change
Solid interpersonal skills and team orientation
Technical and problem-solving skills
Ability to extract, evaluate and utilize data for process improvement from applicable systems
Experience working withing a union environment preferred.
Physical Demands and Environment:
Occasional physical exertion including the regular lifting of objects weighing up to 25 pounds and the occasional lifting of objects weighing up to 40 pounds
Work requires frequent standing or walking throughout the work day
Work requires considerable mental concentration to effectively execute complex tasks requiring periods of focused mental and visual concentration
