Agilix Solutions is seeking a Warehouse Manager for our Jonesboro, AR branch. Qualified candidates must have a background in material handling, order filling, and receiving. The successful candidate will work directly with the Branch Manager to implement processes and procedures to make the warehouse operate at high efficiency.
This role will report to the Director of Logistics.
Responsibilities
Manage a team of 5 -7 warehouse employees
Receive, unpack, and distribute received items, including bulk shipment, as required and check documents to ensure accuracy
Manage inventory placement and organization within warehouse racking systems and designated storage locations
Accurately fulfill customer orders by company, lot number, and quantity
Perform cycle counts and inventory adjustments
Oversee driver loading and routing processes to support accurate, timely, and efficient deliveries
Assist with warehouse recruitment, onboarding, employee development, and performance management initiatives
Implement and follow best practices of working safely, efficiently, and accurately
Review and verify completed orders to ensure accuracy prior to shipment
Always maintain a neat and orderly work area that includes moving pallets, sweeping, disposing of debris, as well as handling all required product recycling
Work with warehouse software and appropriate shipping systems
All other duties assigned
Qualifications
Associate degree preferred
3-5 years experience in a warehouse environment
Strong team collaboration and leadership abilities
Ability to work with various levels within the organization - inside sales, purchasing, management
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Valid Class D driver s license
Ability to operate a forklift
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods standing/being on your feet throughout the day.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
