Production Supervisor needed to oversee assembly and warehouse operations, manage production employees, and support safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement goals. Job Requirements Knowledge of manufacturing or distribution processes
Knowledge of quality, tooling, tool design, preventative maintenance, and facilities
Familiarity with production systems
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Just-in-Time, Kanban, and Demand Flow Technology
Microsoft Office proficiency, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Working knowledge of SAP
Experience working cross-functionally with areas such as:
Accounting
Manufacturing
Engineering
Operations
Warehousing/distribution
Supply management
Ability to manage assembly or warehouse operations
Ability to determine manufacturing priorities based on production schedules
Ability to monitor line, individual, and budget performance
University degree or 4-year work equivalent in Supply Management, Business, Manufacturing Technology, or Engineering preferred
Associate degree acceptable
High school diploma acceptable with adequate years of experience
Preferred Skills 2+ years of team leadership or mentoring experience
2+ years of manufacturing experience in a factory environment
Project management experience, including plan development, resource coordination, and results delivery
Experience with workforce adjustments, staffing plans, and production hours
Experience administering employee policies, practices, procedures, and work rules
Experience supporting onboarding, training, and employee development
Experience monitoring control plans and resolving workmanship issues

Improve and sustain safety, quality, and productivity goals
Support onboarding, training, and development of production team members
Direct departmental continuous improvement plans and activities
Monitor control plans
Troubleshoot workmanship problems
Ensure manufactured products meet established quality requirements
Implement, monitor, and sustain safety programs
Maintain housekeeping standards
Determine manufacturing priorities based on production schedules
Adjust staffing and work hours to meet customer promise dates
Administer employee policies, practices, procedures, and work rules
Monitor and support individual, line, and budget performance goals
