Our client, a leading organization in supply chain and distribution, is seeking an Inventory Analyst to join their team. As an Inventory Analyst, you will be part of the Supply Chain Department supporting inventory planning, operations, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Inventory Analyst
Location: Torrance, CA
Pay Range: $21 - $23/hr.
Shift: 8am - 5pm, Monday through Friday
What's the Job?
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends, gaps, risks, and opportunities for optimization
- Maintain accurate inventory records across systems and support cycle counts and reconciliations
- Manage purchase orders, sales orders, and vendor communication related to inventory
- Coordinate with transportation teams, warehouses, and supply chain partners to support inventory flow and replenishment
- Prepare and present inventory KPIs and reports, including inventory turns, fill rates, stockouts, aging inventory, and runout analysis
What's Needed?
- Bachelors degree preferred in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in inventory, demand planning, or supply chain analytics
- Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, BC)
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities
