Responsibilities

General Operations & Scheduling

  • Complete Operational Oversight: Direct and run all day-to-day operations at the Freeport facility to ensure business goals and production targets are met consistently.

  • Schedule Management: Develop, implement, and maintain master schedules for production, staffing, and facility maintenance to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.

Team & Employee Management

  • Staff Leadership: Directly manage, support, and motivate all operational employees.

  • Workforce Planning: Oversee hiring, onboarding, training, and scheduling for the operations team.

Logistics & Product Transportation

  • Transportation Management: Oversee the end-to-end transportation of products, coordinating both inbound freight and outbound shipping.

  • Logistics Coordination: Navigate the specific logistical challenges and routes of the Long Island and greater Tri-State area to ensure timely delivery of goods.

Vendor & Customer Relations

  • Vendor Management: Source, evaluate, and manage relationships with external vendors and suppliers. Negotiate contracts and terms to ensure quality materials and cost-effective pricing.

  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all products leaving the facility meet Industries' strict quality standards and customer expectations.

Product Development Coordination

  • Collaboration: Partner with design teams to transition products from concept to active production.

  • Prototyping: Oversee operational requirements for product testing and prototyping.
