Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership & Coaching: Lead, mentor, and evaluate shift leaders. Support training initiatives and build a motivated, productive work culture.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee day-to-day production, resolve bottlenecks, and seamlessly adjust schedules for live order changes.
- Fulfillment & Quality: Ensure 100% of fresh/frozen orders ship complete and on time. Lead timely investigations if targets are missed.
- Resource Optimization: Review and approve labor allocations to align staffing levels with daily production needs and cost targets.
- Maintenance Coordination: Partner with the Maintenance Manager to schedule preventive care and urgent repairs, minimizing downtime.
- Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards (SQF, HACCP, GMP).
- Experience: 5–10 years managing teams in a food production environment. A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent blend of education and experience) is required.
- Technical Knowledge: strong familiarity with food safety regulations, production planning, labor scheduling, and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Leadership Style: Exceptional communication, conflict resolution, and independent decision-making skills. You know how to coach under tight deadlines.
- Shift Flexibility: Comfort working full-time on the swing shift, with flexibility to adapt schedules based on production needs.

Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Manage day-to-day bakery manufacturing operations. Direct, mentor, and evaluate Production Managers and the Maintenance Manager. Act as the bridge between production, maintenance, warehouse, logistics, and shipping.
- Production & Order Fulfillment: Ensure all fresh and frozen orders are produced and shipped complete and on time. Adjust production schedules to handle order changes, investigate order shortages, and resolve production bottlenecks.
- Resource & Labor Management: Review and approve labor allocations to match staffing with daily production goals. Maintain efficiency in resource usage to meet output and cost targets.
- Maintenance Coordination: Partner with the Maintenance Manager to schedule preventive maintenance and urgent equipment repairs to ensure safety and minimize downtime.
- KPIs & Performance Tracking: Monitor and track performance metrics related to production efficiency, output, and quality. Provide regular operational updates to Senior Management.
- Compliance & Quality: Enforce strict adherence to company policies, workplace safety, and food safety standards (SQF, HACCP, GMP).
