About the position: Assigned to Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson Lodging. This is a Regular Part-Time position. Employees work at least 20 hours per week to a maximum of 34 hours per week. In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

Qualifying Experience:
Must have experience in and knowledge of methods used in receiving, storing, and issuing routine materials. furnishings and equipment. Must be able to organize, arrange, and remove stock. Skills in use of fork lift dollies, jacks, and hand tools used in warehousing tasks. Must be physically able to frequently lift and carry object weighing up to 40 pounds and occasionally up to 80 pounds. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical. Must satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check with Inquiry (NACI). Must possess an appropriate, valid driver's license as required by local/state laws. Must satisfactorily complete a pre-employment drug test.

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution.

FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying.
