Role you are applying for (Receiving Associate) Receiving Associate - Shift is 6am - 2:30pm Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Receiving Associate to join our food manufacturing team. This role is responsible for receiving, inspecting, and documenting incoming raw materials and supplies while ensuring compliance with food safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Receive and unload incoming shipments of raw materials and packaging supplies Inspect deliveries for accuracy, damage, and quality standards Verify quantities against purchase orders and packing slips Record and maintain accurate inventory and receiving logs Label and store materials following FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures Ensure compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), HACCP, and food safety regulations Communicate discrepancies or issues with vendors and internal teams Operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (if certified) Maintain a clean and organized receiving area Qualifications: Previous receiving, warehouse, or food manufacturing experience preferred Knowledge of inventory systems and basic computer skills Understanding of food safety standards (GMP, HACCP) is a plus Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying temperature environments Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Forklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain) Work Environment: Fast-paced food production facility Exposure to cold storage and refrigerated areas Must follow strict sanitation and safety guidelines Principals only.
