The Operations Manager is a leader of leaders role responsible for overseeing the day-to-day warehouse operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy, safety, and alignment with company goals. This role leads a team of supervisors and associates, drives operational excellence through process improvements, and ensures timely and cost-effective movement of goods. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping Lead, coach, and develop a team of supervisors and warehouse associates to meet performance, safety, and service goals Monitor operational KPIs (e.g., productivity, accuracy, on-time shipping) and take corrective action when necessary Ensure full compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and local, state, and federal laws Partner with cross-functional departments (e.g., logistics, customer service, procurement) to resolve operational issues and optimize end-to-end processes Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost reduction, workflow optimization, and employee engagement Manage staffing levels, labor planning, and scheduling to align with business demand Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and other tools to ensure data integrity and operational visibility Support capital improvement and technology initiatives related to warehouse operations Foster a positive, performance-based culture centered on accountability, safety, and teamwork Requirements Demonstrated experience in warehouse or distribution operations with proven success in a supervisory capacity at Generation Tux, including ownership of team performance and operational outcomes Strong knowledge of logistics, inventory control, and warehouse safety practices Proficient with WMS and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with data analytics tools is a plus Proven ability to lead teams, manage change, and drive performance improvements Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with competing priorities What We Offer Climate-controlled work environment Leadership development opportunities Career growth within operations Supportive leadership and team-oriented culture High employee satisfaction Posting Statement At Generation Tux, we believe that our goal is to enable incredible lifestyle experiences during major life events.
