Lead procurement and raw material inventory management across sites to support cost, quality, and service objectives while ensuring supply continuity. Optimize raw material inventory investment by balancing service requirements with working capital efficiency and minimizing carrying costs. Enhance supplier performance through strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, risk management, and ongoing evaluation to ensure reliable, high-quality supply at optimal cost. Maintain raw material inventory accuracy and working capital targets through effective safety stock strategies, lead-time optimization, and reduction of excess and obsolete inventory. Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes through automation, system enhancements, and supplier collaboration to improve efficiency, responsiveness, and savings. _______________________________________________________________________________ Logistics Management - 20% Manage inbound and outbound transportation to ensure reliable, on-time material flow and efficient logistics execution. Optimize freight spend through mode selection, route optimization, load consolidation, and network efficiency to support procurement cost savings goals. Lead carrier sourcing, contracting, performance management, and compliance across transportation networks. Manage and track transportation KPIs (cost, on-time performance, carrier performance, and damage rates) to drive visibility and continuous improvement. Support data-driven decision-making and potential Transportation Management System (TMS) implementation to improve efficiency, reporting, and freight optimization. Qualifications: Associate's or bachelor's degree in supply chain, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience and/or professional certifications. 5+ years of progressive experience in procurement, sourcing, and logistics within a manufacturing environment. Solid expertise in raw materials procurement, supplier management, inventory control, and inbound/outbound transportation. Demonstrated success driving cost savings, supplier performance improvements, and supply chain efficiency. Strong knowledge of contract negotiation, strategic sourcing, and supply chain risk management. Experience with ERP/MRP systems (D365 preferred; SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Proven ability to lead or influence cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities to deliver results. Exposure to Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and supply chain analytics tools preferred. Willingness to travel up to 15%.
