Logistics Specialist

The Restaurant Store, a division of Clark Associates, is seeking an ambitious problem solver with attention to detail to join a rising company as a Logistics Specialist. A Logistics Specialist concentrates on the enhancement of order fulfillment processes, resolution of customer challenges, and is a crucial element to the growth of our business.

Responsibilities

As a Logistics Specialist you will:

Work closely with our Customer Solutions team and retail store locations to enhance our customers' ordering experience

Assess incoming customer orders and determine the most efficient fulfillment methods

Provide friendly and empathetic communication, primarily through email, to customers on the status of their orders

Assist in problem solving to satisfy customer order requirements and execute strategic solutions

Communicate with internal and external sources, specifically with our vendors, distribution centers, and purchasing department, to ensure effective order fulfilment

Assist with entering purchase orders for customized and special order items

Monitor expedited shipping orders

Coordinate with our retail store locations to complete online pickup orders

Offer suggestions and methods to improve delivery and order fulfillment

Physical Requirements

Work is performed while sitting/standing and interfacing with a personal computer.

Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.

Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.

Requires occasional bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.

Requires the ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs.

Experience

Past industry experience is helpful, but not required for this position.

Education
