Job Description Summary:Incumbent will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing inventory levels to ensure efficient operations and customer satisfaction. The Senior Inventory Analyst will be responsible for analyzing inventory data and implementing strategies to minimize costs while maximizing inventory turnover.

Facilitate the cycle count process between Finance, Supply Chain, and Production. Works closely with Stockroom and Planning personnel to ensure inventory accuracy.

Job Description:
Duties/Responsibilities
Update and maintain the inventory policy according to the supply chain standards & update the MRP setups accordingly.
Closely work with the demand planning department to understand the market trends and demand variability and adjust inventory levels accordingly.
Develop and implement inventory optimization strategies to reduce carrying costs and minimize stock outs.
Work closely with cross-functional teams including purchasing, planning, and logistics to align inventory strategies with business goals.
Closely work with cost analyst explain & address the inventory costs variances against standard costs / identify root causes and recommend corrective actions plan to the planner-buyers.
Analyze the obsolescence costs on slow movers to provide relevant inputs to the product management team.
Participate in the S&OP process by analyzing the projected end of month inventory levels, identifying gaps vs targets & work closely with the Supply Planners & the production team to define & implement the mid & long-term correctives actions plans.
Utilize inventory management software or ERP systems to track inventory movements and maintain data accuracy.
Collaborating with management and inventory supervisor create automated data feeds from several data sources, building dynamic reports centered on key field inventory (turnover rates, stock levels, and aging inventory) and sales performance metrics, and instituting efficient methods to distribute information to wide...
