Join National Dentex - a leading healthcare organization specializing in the dental industry! We offer a full spectrum of specialized products, services, and technologies to address any dental restoration need. Currently, we have several labs throughout the country. We are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this Shipping & Receiving Specialist opportunity at NDX Affinity located in Louisville, KY.

The regular scheduled hours for this position are from 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:

Able to perform all functions/responsibilities of Shipping and Receiving Clerk and has the ability and responsibility to schedule cases and/or invoice cases.

Receives case, opens case and disinfects case for production. Packs and ships case for delivery through local source or national carrier.

Performs the scheduling function for each case

Through LIS enter demographics and customer information

Print preference notes matching to case.

Move case into production area.

Invoices cases and assists with billing questions or issues

Scanning of paperwork for each case for electronic storage

Running, fulfilling and shipping daily customer fulfillments

Daily stocking of Shipping & Receiving supplies

Sort paperwork for scanning

Maintenance duties to include, but not limited to... Change soap in dispensers, Trash removal, Emptying boil out, changing sink traps in production

Customer service- outbound & inbound calls

All other duties as assigned.

Skills and Abilities Required:

Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English

Data entry and computer skills

Ability to coordinate multiple tasks

Strong attention to detail

Strong organizational and follow-up skills

Minimum Education and Experience Required:

Preferred: High school diploma or GED equivalent

Some billing experience, preferred

Hazardous Materials or Equipment Used:

Disinfectant process chemicals

Personal protective equipment as required.

Office equipment

Physical Requirements:

Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and/or reach

Exhibit fine motor skills and/or perform repetitive motions

Good hand-eye coordination

Good manual dexterity

Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time

Repeated bending and kneeling

Vision capabilities: Depth perception, attention to detail and/or color

Push, pull, lift, and/or carry up to 25 pounds
